Black and Guzaarish. He does the quiet, pure artsy movie nuances the best imo

Cannot choose between Devdas and Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam.

Devdas - because of nostalgia and SRK-Aish and SRK-Madhuri chemistry. The songs are excellent and the first time I watched this in theater, cried so much. It was the first time I had watched a tragic ending and my young mind could not take the fact that the hero is not getting a happy ending.

HDDCS - because of the story ( I heard it is based on Bengali novel "Na Hanyate" by Maitreyi Devi) and haunting beautiful songs. Also the bittersweet ending always touches my heart eveytime. I hurt for Salman's character while get happy at the union of Aish and Ajay's character.
