Oh, are you an official spokesperson of the concerned ministry? If so, may you outline what exactly is being done to protect the said enviornmentally vulnerable part of India's ecology against commercial exploitation by laxing environmental laws?

May you also guide me to all the scientists who were consulted and whether or not the said scientists' work were peer-reviewed and whether or not their recommendations, outlines were a) adhered to and b) accepted by the larger scientific community and Indian residents of the said ecologically vulnerable part of India?

Many many thanks.

A fellow taxpayer.

i believe ur issue is communal. if not , my answer is i am not a spokesperson of the ruling party. i believe the government will take necessary precautions before taking any decisions which will affect the people of dweep and india.

Did/does the government bother to give an (honest) account of the state budget? What they did with all the money they got?

This government can do whatever it wants...and extend its power for additional five years...no doubt about that.

bro please mind ur own business. we indians know and will take the most sane decisions.

When did I say anything about religion or community? Believe it or not, not everyone wakes up and checks whatsapp to look for messages that begin and end with religion this and religion that. Religion, religion, religion. I do not make my social or economic decisions based on religion.

Lakshdweep is a vulnerable environmental zone that is predicted by scientists to sink to the bottom of the sea. IIT has done research on it. Commercialisation for tourism as was proposed two years earlier would quicken its sinking. That is the scientific consensus and has been so for many years. I gave you links to where scientists have articulated so. Only you could find something 'communal' in science.

Btw Pondicherry went through something similar in the 80s-90s and its local population barely has any control over its resources. Much of the land is owned by commercial establishment. Lakshdweep is even more ecologically vulnerable than Puducherry.

People of Lakshdweep are people of India. Lakshdweep is India. It does not deserve to sink. If people love India, they would not want Lakshdweep to sink for the sake of private companies to make profit. I did not get to know of Lakshdweep's existence a day ago unlike many celebs.

You believe that Govt. would do something to protect Lakshdweep's ecology. I asked you to substantiate what do you think should be done to conserve it ot has been done to conserve it.

How is that communal?

Anyhow.

I do not respect people who bring up religion anywhere they are unable to substantiate their claims.

I would ask you to not project on me

Sayonara.

Even Maldives faces the danger of sinking in sea by 2050 and even before if tsunami or other environmental conditions affect. But all environmental concerns are for lakshadweep only. As if lakshadweep cannot be developed on Maldives model of tourism. 🤷

Do deshbhakts here know that Lakshdweep is in India therefore Indians would and should care for its preservation and conservation more as it is our responsibility ki humare desh ka ek hissa pani mein na doobe?

Why do deshbhakt extraordinaires here want Bharatiyas to care about other countries' ecological devastation????????????? Yeh kya selective desh prem hai bhai?

Maldives can care for its own issues lol. Also, fĂąck racists everywhere.

The flood of tweets from celebrities/bots pretty much sums up Modi's India. What a joke of a government.
