The only other time I have come across the word kudmayi in any BW song or film is Maye ni Maye ni from HAHK. There is a line in that song: "Uss jogi ki sang meri tu kad de ab kudmayi".
wasn’t it “goodbye” ?

No 🤣 it definitely was kudmayi. Search up the lyrics on Google.
.
Definitely not
What!
Why?!
why wasn’t this part of the original movie?!
Bahhh! This song is so lovely, melodious and soothing! and the visuals are sooo BEAUTIFUL! I love the continuity of the characters… Rocky bowing deeply, and the randhawa papa placing Rocky’s hand over Ranis. Such a loving song, made with asthetic TLC!
It’s beautiful but what am I supposed to do with it tho? Feels like a showpiece you buy at Home Goods and forget about it. IYKYK

Loved that part. Subtle but so effective. It shows his dad’s willingness to change and also sends out a beautiful message.
Also there is one line in the song which says don’t tell your brother that I have always loved you more than him. It simply tug at the heart. 🙌❤️
KJo said he had to relegate the song to the end credits because he didn’t want his movie to cross 2.58 hrs. I didn’t notice but he said he even cut his Dharma logo theme music in the beginning.
Lovely song, definitely deserving of the whole screen but I dont understand why Rani wasn't in Bengali attire for the wedding?? Makes no sense
