Arre wah Ranbir got so many votes.😲...maine toh socha sir 4-5 votes milenge...jo thode se muthhi bhar fans hain unke...😆
Ranbir is such a great actor. But I cannot escape the fact that RK plays a manchild in almost all of his films, regardless of genre. It's so grating. His best work was towards the start of his career with the likes of WUS, Rocket Singh, Rajneeti, Barfi. Everything else has been different versions of manchild. He would be SO good as a psychopath/sociopath in a dark thriller drama. He needs to seek out negative roles. Seriously. He would be perfect.
Vicky's filmography is small but diverse. He showed range and versatility in everything he's done, very talented guy. He's able to fade into the background when he wants and steal a scene when he wants. Not many lead actors can do that. That skill is an asset.
Until RK gets his act together and branches out, I'm picking Vicky.
We all must join hands and ensure Vicky wins , dil koh shanti mil jaayegye 😆
Versatility se shuru hue the, random no pe pahuche.
But personally, both and even Ranveer have done less versatile roles than Rajkumar Rao.
He has a more diverse filmography.
The best part about Vicky's filmography is he is experimenting. Takht aur Ashwatthama ho. Jaata toh aur do genre hote.
Ranbir should do darker shades of roles more, he was good in Rajneeti.
All the roles they both did ? Ranbir
Ranbir is not a versatile actor, he does well in only man child or very stoic serious roles.
He can do comedy but does go ott example Ajab where he was great in some parts but some was just to ott. Plus he can't do macho roles .
His best have been Rocket Singh, WUS and Raajneeti.
Barfi too ott and rest all roles similar
Vicky has great presence, can do comedy Sanjay Dutt biopic and the clueless husband in lust stories.
Macho roles like Uri and great pathos in Sardar Udham Singh.
Sensitive and romantic portrayal in Raazi
This laugh won't change the fact that RK is miles ahead of Vicky in terms of acting, screen presence, versatility & looks (SUBJECTIVE)
😉

He was terrific as Shamshera. Wait for ANIMAL by Sandeep Reddy Vanga
Vicky Kaushal definitively. He has done roles which are quite diverse and shined in them. His versatility has been showcased in Maasan, Raazi, Sanju, Uri and Sardar Uddham Singh to name a few. In Raazi, he held his own against the author backed role of Alia and got praised. In Sanju again, he gave a splendid performance again against the titular role of Sanju played by Ranbir.
Its not easy to shine against the big industry stars and that too in their author backed roles.
Ranbir Kapoor has performed very well well in roles like in Rajneeti, Sanju, Wake up Sid, Barfi. The performances are good but that's what is required from the actor. Its not rising above the necessary and giving a brilliant performance. Besides the script strongly supports the character. Its not like that actor has to add something from his own skills.
