Why would T-series stop working with Sonu if he was asking it for others and doesn’t include himself? That makes no sense . When Sonu asked for compensation it included himself.

P.s : I have no problem with Sonu asking for royalty but it’s hypocritical that you have to call Alka greedy for asking her rightful remuneration.

it was not sonu alone , i repeat it was collective decision of ISRA ...Indian singers right association that not to sign illegal contracts with music companies

There are so many things regarding Copyright that happened more than a decade where singers or ISRA was not involved.

It was headed by Javed Akhtar, members of the MCAI (formerly the CMDA) and there were lyricists in the picture too.

I watched the Amendment on Live TV, both Rajya and Lok Sabha.

So I know what I am talking about 😆

Alka Yagnik was supposed to sing all of the songs of Hum….Dil Chuke Sanam. She ended up singing just one. The relaxation had been achieved by Kavita Karishnamurthy.

For his subsequent opus Devdas, Sanjay Bhansali was decided to discover a voice in the Lata Mangeshkar mould to exchange Yagnik. This is when Shreya Ghoshal met Sanjay Bhansali.

Lookiing at SLB's first film Khamoshi: the soundtrack features 5 songs by Kavita and 1 song by Alka. HDDCS his second film contains again several songs by Kavita (7), alongside 1 by Alka.

And it is not true that Alka ever worked with him again, as she sang Chhabeela in his 2007 film Saawariya. Whereas Kavita_ji has ZERO songs in that soundtrack 😲

Alka was "supposed to sing all the song of HDDCS" - says who? the stats ain't stacking up.

Alka/Kumar also refused Rahman for Roja's hindi version. They refused to fly down to Chennai to record songs (because back in the day no one did it). Hindisight is always 20/20, so a understandable
