What's so special about Ranbir Kapoor as a person? - Page 9

It’s weird because in his interviews he doesn’t give off that charming vibe at all. It usually seems like he’s in another world, or at least somewhat aloof. I just can’t imagine other than looks, what he has to offer. Unless someone tells me he’s exactly like Bunny in YJHD, then I get it.

There was a lot of hype around Ranbir when he started off. His relationship with Deepika got both of them a lot of media buzz too.

Apart from that, he comes from old money, is hailed as this chirag of Kapoor family line, and he's reasonably okay looking (or hot, depending on who you ask), and is tall. Let me repeat TALL, a rarity in b'wood.

He comes across as reasonably well spoken in interviews, and he is arguably one of the best actors of his time.

I think that's a recipe good enough for a bollywood actress to wanna date him, especially Deepika and Katrina who didn't descend from bollywood's royalty, and might have wanted that extra jewel in their crowns. And could wear stilettos while attending parties with him as an added bonus.😆

Coming to Alia, he was clearly her childhood crush. After tasting fame herself, she saw a shot and took it when he was up for grabs. 😆 The fact that he picked her after Kat and Deepika is a major ego boost to her too. That's not how I think, that's just how I think SHE thinks, going off her interviews/posts.😆

Your post made me Google his height. It's funny ,I always thought of him as a shortish guy. Not 'short' but a 5'7 ish vibe. He doesn't seem tall. Idk maybe I shortzoned him because of the characters he plays 😆.

yeah, he does have a knack for manchild characters, doesn't he? I didn't know his height for sure but was going off my impression in movies. I googled it now and it says 5'11".... well! I thought he was at least 6' but guess not. it's still a lot more than most of the men in b'wood. 😆

But what is so special about Ranbir Kapoor that he usually has best of girls falling for him, his GFs keep getting younger and younger and are hardly over him, usually go to extra lengths to meet or please his family, win over his mom and sister and do gestures such as tattooing his name on neck or wearing rings of his initials or lucky numbers to flaunt love for him?

Is it purely due to his Kapoor name and heritage? Or his looks or 'charm', personal 'charisma'?

I have rarely seen girls fall head over heels in love with someone or openly flaunt their passionate love for him or even fight with the media for him or start trying to please family of man even before man declares intention of marriage the way girls have done for Ranbir.

He usually gets the top actresses, professional, high achieving women as his new GFs.

His surname. I honestly don’t get the appeal of his acting or broody persona. And it’s not like he is a looker either, so I guess that so much hype was placed around his family’s legacy that this aura was created around him.

Meeting was taunting Deepika when she was dating ranbir.but rishi used to praise her n addressed her as bahurani in all the interviews till their break up.

Rishi Kapoor is beforehand a costar of Deepika. When She was dating RK both of them did not like her and she did not try to get in their good book, Neetu talked about how she feels like she is taking advantage of her son. All top actresses want to date him and be the lucky one to tie him down in matrimony. After Deepika made a fool of herself over Ranbir and continues to be enamoured by him plus his various alliances makes other girls think that he is gods gift to womenkind.
