300+ cr already spent and Disney is partially on the hook so even if he wanted to bury it he can't. It's taking forever to finish and it can't be released anytime soon anyway with COVID. With that budget it needs healthy theatrical. In the meantime KJO needs Dharma to be making films on smaller budgets so that even if forbid COVID is still going strong next year he can release them OTT.

If they are waiting for full fledged audience and huge theatrical release, it can only release by 2023 cuz Covid isn't going to go anytime soon. They made a major mistake by extending it this long. Should have release by 2019.
