I am guessing this new movie is low budget and he is thinking of getting done with it for a OTT release?

Since takht is high budget, he probably wants a theatre release for that, well after the pandemic is over for good.

But I am just guessing here. Does anyone know?

He has delayed takht as it is a more difficult film to make, it requires big sets and multiple locations and a high amount of action, all of that is not possible due to the pandemic, so he has planned to make it later. The current film he is making is a more lighter and easier film to make, so I guess he didn't want to waste any time and so decided to make another film before takht, and kjo will not let a film directed by himself to release on ott, both this film and takht will release in theatres
