of course I will PM you Kiddo.
If he shows that kinnars are normal like others then it is good..I had initially thought that the movie denigrated them unlike the original... But I will still give it a pass.. Akki's weird expressions with a huge bindi and bangles.. Behaving like a possessed man somehow makes me cringe. Bhool bhulaiya was tolerable, but this doesn't meet that quality.
Maybe I will change my opinion if the subsequent trailers are good..

Maaf kardo meri maa, I don't have extensive knowledge of the trans or intersex community. But whatever is the politically correct term, in Muni2, Kanchana was addressed as Kinnar.
That's what I said, a kinnar is an intersex person and not a transgender. Kinnars and intersex are PHYSICALLY different, not just politically correct terms. Kanchana was called a kinnar, which means she was an intersex and not trans.
It's not your fault though---most people in India don't know what transgender means.

No, most people in Western countries know the difference. That's because the trans right movement is much stronger over there.

I know.. I sail in the same boat. I don't get my terminologies correct but I want people of every sexuality to be treated well. I remember someone bashing apartheid in South Africa frequently use the N word.. He thought using the word blacks was offensive and N was a polite word.. 😆.. Happens all the time

Nah the thing is the people from eunuch, trans and intersex (who are rare) want themselves to be called Kinnars, as the word Hijra is found offensive. Hence the confusion.
And sorry people always get confused between hermaphrodites, transsexuals, eunuchs and traps, it isn't a western or eastern thing.
