I think he started with the sole intention of helping at first and when he saw it becoming the talk of town and people appreciating his work,he really got motivated towards all this in a positive way.I don’t see any other agenda behind it.

About money..there are tons of people who are ready to donate and all they need is a medium.Sonu must have been that medium for many such people.

Am so glad people are talking about Sonu Sood. This guy is doing such a good job and needs to be applauded for it. At least he's using his voice for a good cause and putting in efforts to even make a 1% positive change.

Sitting behind a computer, making judgments and bashing someone is too easy. Many people would be happy to donate to a worthy cause, if they know the funds are being managed correctly, without financial fraud.

After so many months saw a topic on Sonu Sood but alas it was just to question his motive instead of genuinely appreciation him. So many topics on people criticizing the industry, criticizing nepotism, criticizing actors but nobody talks about the good people of this industry. Even when Kangana was asked about Sonu Sood by international media, she calmly ignored it. She can only point fingers at people but cannot dare talk about the good ones.

When the Government does something, all come in praise of the Government but the Government uses public's money and not their own while Sonu is using his own money and here everyone asks from where he got so much money.

Sonu Sood is genuinely a gem and if he joins politics, I'll be the happiest. For me, we need such people who want to come out and genuinely help them instead of bringing them down and discouraging them. He has done things which nobody can imagine to do. Love him for that!

many people do good with other motives

or pretend to do good while doing unsolicited activities

nothing wrong with speculation or thinking about it

I can't believe his net worth is $17m

Maybe he handled his money well or inheritence

Sonu Sood definitely has powerful friends with money but this is power used correctly so I don't care how and why he's doing this. Atleast he's doing something. And he wouldn't have to do shit or wouldn't have gotten the opportunity to either if government did its work but LOL.

Rather than asking about where this guy is getting the money from which he's just putting to great use, people should be worried about PM Cares Fund cause we as citizens have zero clue about our own money and where it's being used and won't ever know either. Din daahade when the head of the country is a scammer of the highest order, it seems almost meh to ask questions to Sood who's atleast doing something with the money,no matter where it's coming from. If it's for joining politics later, why not. Atleast he's earned it and we need people like him.

Well said. The PM Cares Fund seems quite dubious to me as well, asking the wealthy to donate as though the politicians are ensuring their own Diwali bonus comes on time....wish we could have media channels covering the Covid funds and relief measures undertaken or lack thereof with the same zeal.

Wow, how many people here do good things without any motive? Most people like to be praised or given validation, now there is one celebrity who is helping others incessantly since the lockdown, he might like to be praised but should that be really questioned. Atleast he is helping unlike the government.
