he's not even toned, he just hides behind his privilege... just because he doesn't shout like KG, doesn't mean he isn't vile.

Also, are you implying that people who aren't toned aren't smart? it's like saying that uneducated person doesn't know anything. Jesus. What classism.

Years ago Saif wrote a dumb open letter which became the butt of jokes (rightfully so). But since it keeps coming up over and over again, here's what he felt about it.

At 5 mins.

better to be tone and stupid than to be a nazi supporter who is islamophobic and calling for genocide anyday 🤢

Thanks for the clip.

Well, he does accept that his letter is stupid. But let me ask you this--Didn't KR also clarify her stance in a video clip following her sister's tweet and the reactions it got? How is that any different from Saif apologizing and clarifying here?

If people aren't willing to let go of Rangoli's tweet and would rather continue to hammer the sister duo for "advocating Muslim genocide," why should we take Saif up on his clarification and accept it as a goof-up that doesn't define him? Shouldn't the same courtesy then be extended to KR too?

For those who are against racism and genocide across the board (I assume all of us), they are within their rights to be disgusted by KR if they thought she harbors such intentions but shouldn't they also be vehemently against Saif's bullcrap on eugenics, genetic investment, and whatnot? But you're just gonna pass it off as his "dumb blonde" moment while you continue to give KR shit for that tweet?

To me, that looks like you're picking and choosing based on the community you identify with.

Assuming that both people meant their stances (and let's assume they did), I do think calling for Genocide and hatred against a religious group is way worse than being a arrogant prick.

Either way, let's forgot KR for her old comment. She keeps posting islamophobic shit on her twitter even NOW.

the issue wasn't the "dumb letter", but the content of it and how he felt about nepotism and/or eugenics that was the problem..yes the execution was hilarious with his choice of words and the "open letter" ... but his inherent problematic thoughts (being a middle aged person) that was alarming..

now if he has actually reflected on his "thoughts" and "racist views" (not the "dumb letter") then maybe we can give him a benefit of the doubt..only if he has actually thought about how wrong he was to spend a lifetime with his racist views and did something to be a better person ..

but apologising for writing a "dumb letter" sorry doesn't cut it..

and bringing up Kangana's bigoted views..seriously?

i guess Kangana supporters could say "at least she didn't run over people on the footpath, at least she's not shooting people in nightclubs.. ..." etc etc... and we will be going in circles finding some more problematic person to defend the previous problematic person...

He did reflect on it quite a bit. If you watched the video. Otherwise I can summarize the contents of the video

" it cant be a coincidence that it has always involved the same "religious group"

kangana is brave to call them out in todays politically correct mad world where people such as u jump onto everything without due thought"

brave to call "them out"? You mean Muslims?

But how is class discrimination, elitism, and looking down on the less privileged any better than racism or resentment towards a particular group of people? To me, they all serve the same purpose--marginalizing a particular group of people and acting like you're high and mighty compared to them.

Giving a preferential treatment to the "blue bloods" within bollywood and selling them as inherently superior to the audience looks just as diabolical to me too. And then these people create talk shows where they think they are uniquely qualified to define other people's reality by elevating and demeaning whoever they want in the public eye. PREJUDICE is what these people thrive on.

To me, Bollywood looks like a socially accepted institution with significant barriers to the well-being of the less privileged cuz the audience is willing to look past the prejudices. And even the ones who make it to the top are bullied and suppressed systematically. People can wrap that up with the english slogan "nepotism is normal and everywhere" but can't digest KR's tweets? I mean, I understand Islamophobia is nothing to defend but in this context where people are willing to accept the malpractices of bollywood, I don't get how they can create such an uproar over KR alone.

To those people, I say either speak against all kinds of prejudices, or drop the act.

Everyone already knows Saif is stupid, privileged and classist. There's nothing to defend so who's going to argue about it. This letter was already discussed a million times before by social media so it's nothing new.

If there is any Kangana comparison, she is 10 times a worse human being than Saif.
