Not saying that's what happened but there a gazillion reasons for one wanting to quit industry.. hell there have been a ton of actresses who quit the industry at the peak of their career

Maybe it was nothing to do with “Mafia” and more to do with his wish. He also wanted to plant 1000 trees , learn to code and 48 other things .

I don’t think he wanted to quit Bollywood. He was working on 3 different scripts. He loved nature and wanted to enjoy his life through farming. Sandeep version is not making sense.

Maybe it didn't make him happy anymore

He was interested in 100 other things , what is more surprising to me more is that after a successful year with critical and commerce hit films like chichore and sonchiriya with top actresses like Bhumi and Shraddha he was doing a film with Rumi jaffery with rhea and that was the only film he had signed

I don't think he had dearth of films , yahan ek film hit ho uspe 5 saal ka career nikaal lete hai log
