and as I said an actor needs to do all sorts of films
we could not expect a Robert de niro or Al apcino level performance from Ajay in action jackson and himmatwala...could we ? 🤪

He wasn’t do the films to perform brilliantly. He was doing them to get easy success. He got trapped down in stardom.

80s was a different era..not much experimental movies were made then. It was all formula. AB himself said he liked working in the current bollywood scenario more than his peak days
People cite Swades everytime they want to praise SRK's acting. And it was actually rejected by Aamir.. script issues I guess. So even though he liked the story he had the sense of understanding where exactly it could go wrong at BO.
No doubt he would have aced the role like he did with Bhuvan, DJ, Akash and many such characters..
I like watching him in older movies like Dil hai ki maanta nahi, QSQT, Hum hai rahi pyaar ke, Dil..he was like a breath of fresh air. And Aamir-Juhi jodi😳

Mr. Bachchan is a legend and icon. But at one point he became repetitive. I cant count how many films he made with the plot of him being the illegitimate son of a evil rich man who wanted revenge. Everyone gets trapped in it now and then

This question has been asked so many times...so obviously my answer will be the same...lol...
When it comes to acting they both are equals....the only difference is that Aamir chooses excellent scripts👍🏼 and SRK..ah well...🤔....so the illusion or delusion is that Aamir comes across as a better actor....after all...compare Aamir in an intense scene in Dangal vs Shahrukh in a tutu trying to do ballet in HNY......but compare a Dangal with a Swades....compare a RDB with CDI....compare Aamir's best movies with SRK's best.....and they are equals......luckily Aamir does a very few movies like TOH, D3 or Mela and more movies like Dangal.....while SRK chooses not so appealing scripts...otherwise SRK in Baazigar, Darr, KHKN, Dil se, MNIK, Swades, CDI, Fan, Raees and so many movies has acted brilliant...Infact SRK has never disappointed me with his acting in any movie other than Devdas.....I may have been disappointed with the movie...but not with SRK's acting.....same for Aamir...I loved Aamir in TOH and D3 although they are the weakest movies of Aamir..
anyways...Amir and SRK are the best of best....no complains in them being compared.
Shahrukh Khan is a far far better actor than Amir Khan.
Also Aamir Khan lacks the on-screen charm that SRK had, atleast in 90's. I have not seen many of his new movies So I don't know if he still has it or lost it.
SRK in romance, comedy, action(see one 2 ka 4 vs Baazi) is much better than AK.
And if SRK hams then all actors in the whole world ham.
