just saw the movie .Bhoot is a decent Horror film that manages to surprise with highly gripping narrative that holds your attention throughout .There are several jump scares that send the chill down the spine which is further elevated by terrific back ground score .Everything makes perfect sense when the mystery is revealed in the climax .There is a twist when the real culprit is revealed which does come as a surprise .A spooky watch!
Most likely will crash from Monday.

Bhoot Second Day Business
Saturday 23 February 2020 09.30 IST
Box Office India Trade Network
Bhoot showed growth of 10% which is decent considering its coming off a holiday. The film collected 5.50 crore nett to take its total to 10.50 crore nett. This means that real value growth for the film is 45-50% which is reasonable.
Obviously it should be more due to the lower starting point but as its horror genre its hard to expected big growth like a social or film or a comedy for the big big centres. The second day keeps Bhoot in the race due to the low costs but a lot depends on the Monday number. Good growth on Sunday can be a plus for the film but that may be difficult though it should jump more than it did on Saturday. The first two day business of Bhoot is as follows.
Friday - 5,00,00,000
Saturday - 5,50,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 10,50,00,000 apprx
watched it on Friday. First half was good and gave a feeler that something more is coming in the second half. There was this excitement in the hall after the first half. What transpired in 2nd half was nothing but super dull. It turned out funny then horrific, the story was dragged to build a story line and same old verses reading in front of ghosts. The ghost that revealed in the 2nd half, after connecting the story, was so unreal and funny. I would call it a disappointing fare and not worth more than a star
So I watched the movie today at cineplex with my family.
Now I may be a little biased , because horror is my favorite genre , I can watch ( and I do watch a lot of ) any crap if only it has ghosts in it.
Having said that , I'd still say , all things considered it's a good film for one time watch. Vicky was very natural and effortless and so was the guy who played his friend Riwaz. The story kind of made sense and came together . It's a bit slow . But the end was sweet.
It's also family friendly and not too scary.
I'd say go ahead and give it a try.
Will be done from Monday onward. Another one bites the dust.
Bhoot Has Low Weekend
Monday 24 February 2020 11.00 IST
Box Office India Trade Network
Bhoot had a low weekend of 16 crore nett but that is expected and the problem is the trend as its did not grow on Sunday and it needed more growth on Saturday. It is the Sunday number which hurts as no Sunday growth could mean a struggle over the weekdays..
The film has done better in the multiplexes of Mumbai and South but the mass markets are dull and horror normally performs well in mass markets. The problem here is the horror is more the Hollywood type so only metros have a chance but here they have not collected as they should. The film did face competition from Shubh Mangal Zyaada Saavdhan but has not affected the film as there is more than enough space for these type of films. The first weekend business of Bhoot is as follows..
Friday - 5,00,00,000
Saturday - 5,50,00,000 apprx
Sunday - 5,50,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 16,00,00,000 apprx
Done and dusted.
Shubh Mangal And Bhoot Falter On Monday
Tuesday 25 February 2020 01.30 IST

Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan and Bhoot faltered on Monday as they showed drops. The collections of Shubh Mangal Zyaada Saavdhan have actually dropped more but that is probably because Bhoot has hardly any collections.
The early estimates for Monday are 3.50 crore nett for Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan and 2 crore nett for Bhoot. These are major falls from Friday but that was a holiday. If we take fair value numbers then Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan is around 50% down and Bhoot is around 45% down. These are basically normal weekday trends but films had to be better than normal because neither took great starts.
The collections of Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan are now 34 crore nett plus after four days and is probably looking at week of 42-43 crore nett. Bhoot stands at 18 crore nett after four days and is probably looking at a week of 23-24 crore nett.
Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan could still emerge an Average fare depending on the second week but it has been rejected outside Delhi NCR with East Punjab and Rajasthan doing well for three days. The big problem was it did not get support at metros like Mumbai, Pune and Kolkata.

Bhoot First Tuesday Business
Wednesday 26 February 2020 12.00 IST
Box Office India Trade Network
Bhoot fell around 10-12% on Tuesday when in order to have any chance of survival it had to collect in the same range of Monday. This takes the total of the film to 19.75 crore nett and the first week looking to be a low 22.50-23 crore nett. The only minor plus is that the weekday trend is actually better than Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan but Bhoot missed out totally on weekend collections.
The film is better in metros like Mumbai, Pune and Bangalore but there has been total rejection in North and all mass markets like Rajasthan, CP Berar, CI and Gujarat / Saurashtra. The best hop for the film is a 30 crore nett final total and even that depends on a decent hold on Friday as getting 6-7 crore nett in week two will not be easy. The first five days collections of Bhoot is as follows..
Friday - 5,00,00,000
Saturday - 5,50,00,000 apprx
Sunday - 5,50,00,000 apprx
Monday - 2,00,00,000 apprx
Tuesday - 1,75,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 19,75,00,000 apprx
