Kriti Kharbanda will have had two releases in a matter of a month by November end. While Housefull 4 turned out to be a huge money-spinner at the box office, Pagalpanti that has her in yet another ensemble releases this Friday. The actress also had another big release lined up early next year, in the form of Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi starrer Chehre.
Chehre, directed by Rumi Jafry, and produced by Anand Pandit, is a courtroom drama that starred Kriti in a prominent role. But now, we hear that Kriti won't be part of the project anymore. A source from the team reveals, "Kriti's tantrums and her team's mismanagement of time and dates were becoming a regular nuisance at work. They were trying to adjust to her demands but had to finally give in. There was a major showdown between the actress and the production and both decided to not go ahead anymore. Kriti has been asked to leave the project and now, she won't be seen in it anymore."
This news comes as a shocker, given she had already started the shoot. "Kriti shot her portions in the first schedule and was all set to be part of the second schedule. But the fallout happened right now and both have mutually decided to not work together on Chehre. At this point, the team is looking at an actress to replace the heroine and the new heroine will be announced soon. The scenes that were shot with Kriti now also needs to be reshot." Chehre is eyeing an April 24, 2020 release.
