Zoinks Madhu Mantena who is part owner of Kwan is one of the co-producers of Ramayan... Nitesh just directed Chichorre with Shraddha... I feel they are attaching these names to raise the funds.and attract investors.

Yeah. They want to see how much could they bag with the current hot cast, if they get good response from the financiers they would start the sachchi ka casting for next 12 months.

Shraddha Kapoor chooses Hrithik Roshan over Ranbir Kapoor?

Apparently, Shraddha Kapoor was approached for not only Luv Ranjan’s untitled next alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Ajay Devgn but also for Nitesh Tiwari’s next Ramayana which was supposed to cast Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone in lead roles.

In the last eight years of her acting career, Shraddha Kapoor has set a benchmark for herself. The actress, who made her Bollywood debut with teen drama Luv Ka The End, has delivered constant hits at the box-office. Shraddha is currently basking in the success of Prabhas starrer Saaho and Nitesh Tiwari’s Chhichhore which also features Sushant Singh Rajput, Varun Sharma and many more in pivotal roles.

Recently, the 32-year-old actress made headlines when reports from various websites stated that Shraddha is being approached for many big-budget films. But what caught the audience’s attention was that the starlet was approached for the same roles that Deepika Padukone was approached for.

Apparently, for the past few months Deepika had been in the talks for not only Luv Ranjan’s untitled next alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Ajay Devgn, but also for Nitesh Tiwari’s next Ramayana, which was supposed to star Hrithik Roshan and Prabhas in the lead role.

But a few rumours that stated Shraddha might be replacing the senior actress to romance Ranbir on-screen, an exclusive report from Bollywood Hungama states that Shraddha is also in the talks for Nitesh Tiwari’s – Rs 600-crore period drama, Ramayan. Apparently, Shraddha is approached to play the role of Sita, which Deepika was supposed to play, alongside Hrithik who will be playing Ram and Prabhas will be Ravan.

As per a trade source, as quoted by Bollywood Hungama, "While there has been speculation that Deepika Padukone is playing the role of Sita, Nitesh is keen to cast Shraddha and approached her for the same. They have worked together in the recently released, Chhichhore and apart from the movie being a super hit, they share a great working rapport.

"It’s true that Shraddha was approached for Luv Ranjan’s next, as the female lead opposite Ranbir Kapoor and she was extremely excited as the offer came from the superhit filmmaker and she has never worked with Ranbir before. But she got the Ramayana offer and apparently, had to turn it down as those dates of both movies (shooting begins next year) were clashing.

"Ramayana won’t start till 2020 and she is also busy with her other movies (Street Dancer 3D and Baaghi 3) which will be complete before Nitesh’s movie begins."

"Maybe there had been talks earlier but now Shraddha is definitely in talks for the role of Sita. If Shraddha signs Ramayana, it would also mean her choosing Hrithik over Ranbir (Luv Ranjan’s film) and she has not worked with the senior actor too, earlier.

"Shraddha is in a very exciting space now. Except Batti Gul Meter Chalu, she has had successive hits in Stree, Chhichhore and Saaho and has signed one of the hottest sequels of the year, Baaghi 3. Shraddha is being offered the best of roles and movies, but she is being choosy right now as she needs to sign what’s best for her.

"Earlier she was offered Thugs Of Hindostan by Aditya Chopra but it didn’t work out for various reasons. If Ramayana works out for her, it will also mean her first period drama," the source further added.

According to media reports, Nitesh Tiwari has said that his next movie (after Chhichhore) will be Ramayana, which will be made as a trilogy. But no formal announcement has appeared regarding the film’s casting as the project is still in the conceptual stages.

None. It is most likely made by a PH that's with Kwan... toh DP, Shraddha nahin toh koi aur from that agency will get the movie... they've been just dropping names from their agency talents to increase hype for Ramayan. Fail to get enough buzz, they would shelve it.
