Such creeps should be punished really hard and be put in jail forever..and I pity all those people who are putting down Shweta and her daughter for this man..if it's your own sister or daughter in Palak's place would you still give this creep benefit of doubt and support him and degrade the woman?..so sad..
Daughters making false accusations against their biological fathers(forget step-fathers), in India and abroad may not be frequent but is not rare either. If I am not wrong their was also a film made where a father was falsely accused by his daughter and was sentenced to prison, I don't remember name of the film, fortunately for him I think the daughter confessed and he was released. Just as their are MCP's in the world their are also FCB's. Both are a blot on the humanity.
If this guy has done anything untoward to his step-daughter then police will find it and punish him, that is for sure and that is just.
A police officer at the Samata Nagar police station said that the accused had been showing sexually explicit photos of models to the woman since 2017. A case has been filed against him under sections 354A (sexual harassment), 323 (voluntarily causing hurt), 504 (breach of peace), 506 (criminal intimidation), 509 (insulting modesty of woman) of the Indian Penal Code and 67A (transmitting sexually explicit material) of the Information Technology Act. Sources told mid-day that the cops have seized the mobile phone used in the crime and it has been sent for a forensic analysis test.

On topic, i hope Shweta deals with this strongly, she has already tolerated a lot of trouble from Raja and I really thought she was happy with her current husband. I have watched in many crime patrol cases that step fathers are sick and molest their step daughters, so this case is not unbelievable at all. Shweta and Palak needs to be given their space, and i hope media does not make a circus of this because the case is delicate and might affect Palak's state of mind too.
I do want to here the husband's defense too, but seems like police might have had some evidence otherwise is it possible to arrest someone on the basis of an accusation?
@Bold: An accused can be investigated and questioned by police. It is a part of collecting evidence and proofs; to see if any case is made out.

bhinav Kohli's mother Poonam Kohli has come out in her son's support after Shweta Tiwari filed a police complaint against him for hitting her daughter. She said that all is not well between Shweta and Abhinav for the past two years and the said allegations were levelled against Abhinav as the Kasautii Zindagii Kay actress wanted to divorce him.
Poonam Kohli said that Abhinav is very fond of both his kids and has taken care of Palak as a kid ever since she separated from Raja Chaudhary.
"Abhinav and Shweta have been not been on good terms with each other, since last two years, but Abhinav tried to sort out things. He wanted to live with Shweta as Reyaash was too young and it was his dream to live under one roof with both his kids. However, things did not work out between them. Abhinav took care of Palak since she was a kid and Raja Chaudhary had left her. Even while she was in the Bigg Boss house and her mom had to travel to her native place, Abhinav was there to take care of Palak. From her school admission, attending parents meeting in school, to tying her school laces, he has done everything. They have conveniently forgot everything and putting such false and dirty allegations against him just because they want to get rid of him. She wanted to divorce him. I don't want to talk about it further," Poonam Kohli told The Times of India.

I hope no one forgotten that disturbing incident few years ago (had video record on youtube) when SHWETA and HER MOTHER made Raja chaudhry burnt with piping hot rod, and also physically attacked & assaulted him with their nails (raja showed the clips & his burnt scars and nail' scratches on camera, was severing about the attackers) when he tried to enter their home to meet his daughter Palak, as Shweta was depriving him for that since long and didn't allowed father-daughter meetup.
