Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon laugh off Luka Chuppi fight: We have been married for 50 days
There were rumours that Kriti Sanon and Kartik Aaryan were not on talking terms after the success of Luka Chuppi. However, the two have laughed it off.
For a while, there have been rumours about a brewing cold war between Luka Chuppi co-stars Kriti Sanon and Kartik Aaryan. Though the film soared at the box office and crossed over Rs 95 crore, there were reports suggesting that Kriti was upset with Kartik for "hijacking" the success of the film. There were even strong rumours that the two were not on talking terms.
However, Kartik and Kriti have rubbished the murmurs and laughed it off. Kartik took to Twitter and wrote, "Ajii sunti ho !!! Guddu aur Rashmi ke Pyaar ki khabar chapne ki bajaay, Ye kaunsi khabar chhap gayi akhbaar mein ?? Abhi toh humaari shaadi ke '50 days' hue hain bas , aur log afwaahein phailaane lage." (Instead of writing about Guddu and Rashmi's love, what are these news reports? We've been married for 50 days!"
Luka Chuppi has completed 50 days at the box office.

Kriti Sanon shared the same photo on her Instagram account. She wrote, "Kartik can you stop chatting with me on phone and just come back and take me out to celebrate 50 days of Luka Chuppi?"
She also tweeted, "Just because we don't get papped outside restaurants, doesn't mean our love has reduced."
Kriti Sanon@kritisanonDone hai!! Just because we don't get papped outside restaurants doesn't mean our love has reduced na.. @TheAaryanKartik come back soon Son of Gwalior!
Kriti had earlier told a newspaper that she had been overlooked, and that all the credit had gone to Kartik. "This business of overlooking the leading lady has been going on for a while and it's so unfair. I am glad this conversation is finally happening.
"It's logical to talk about only the male protagonist when the leading lady doesn't have a lot to do, but when they are both carrying a film on their shoulders, the credit should be equally shared. Everybody deserves a mention," she added.
Produced by Dinesh Vijan, under the banner of Maddock films, Luka Chuppi is based on the idea of live-in relationships in India. Starring Kartik Aaryan, Kriti Sanon, Aparshakti Khurana, Vinay Pathak and Pankaj Tripathi in key roles, the film hit the screens on March 1 this year.
The film is directed by Laxman Utekar.
