I honestly don't see hirani being boycotted by the industry.. He is way too successful... I just hope that mainstream media picks up the story so ppl are forced to talk about it... Otherwise the easiest thing is to bury the story by having none of the major publications report it...

finally...the truth is out and HuffPost mustve done a proper check to verify if its true or not, before taking his name... I dont think they are that irresponsible... and also if she was doing it for money, then it wouldnt have been out...

How did the creep do it for 6 months without anybody suspecting anything? This is scary at so many levels that one can't even fathom...

And on the top of all this trauma the poor girl's father is suffering from a terminal illness...:(

I knew someone like Rahul Raut who is followed by many on twitter (whose scoops and breaking news people rely on) would have never tweeted about Hirani unless and until he knew for certain Hirani's time is up and he was getting exposed soon..

Now someone should make a biopic to whitewash Hirani's image..

Hirani is king of bb sypported by VVC and other industry biggies. Worked with big star.. lets see how many of them call him out publicly and how long it takes them to call him out distance themselves from him. He is not a small or medium fry..

the fact that anupama chopra and vvc are supporting the victim and distancing themselves from Hirani speaks volumes, even his writing partner abhijat joshi is supporting the victim, these are people who will lose the most by going against Hirani as they hav gained so much from his films, but they are doing it, that must mean there is some truth in it

WOW! .. I am bit speechless at this! .. This is next level crazy!

At the same time it's hard to prove such allegations and also hard to defend such allegations since neither party may have any substantial "proofs" ... it's all "he says she says"! ... Right now the tilt is more on the girl's side ... regardless of anything, Hirani's credibility has been "hit" fosho! ...

As for Hirani and VVC .. may be they came to a mutual decision to keep distance since his movie is releasing soon than to get movie surrounded with controversy!

Right now I don't wanna take any sides until something more comes out of this! .. If Hirani is a creep there must be more such instances ... such men are usually repeat offenders ... I'll wait to see if there are any other girls who can come forward! ... Otherwise it's hard to just believe one side blindly!

You'd be surprised. Now that this is out, Hirani will have a hard time scoring himself A-listers look how actors turned their back on Woody Allen in his last movie. And how the financing of his last movie was halted due to the MeToo controversy.

I think it's hypocritical of them imo because what got out about Woody was the same thing that every one knew back then but people didn't care much.

Now that the awareness has been raised, even celebs are mindful of who they work with because of the backlash.

Anupama, VVC and Abhijat would have faced massive backlash against them if they have supported Hirani.. look at what happend to the Phantom guys especially Anurag Kashyap they got hige backlash because they never took any action to help the victim when she approached them but dissolved Phanton the day before HuffPost published the expose.
