Dev Patel's "Hotel Mumbai made an powerful connection with Toronto Film Festival audiences at its world premiere on Friday evening. The Australian-made film graphically depicts the 2008 terror attacks on Mumbai, and in particular the Taj Hotel.

Ripples of applause broke out and then choked as the end credits rolled. Patrons of the Princess of Wales Theater greeted cast and crew on stage with a real sense of gratitude and anticipation.

But veteran Indian Film critic Aseem Chhabra thrashed the filmmakers for not naming the terrorists alleged nation .Here what he said in a series of tweets & replies

*A big issue with #HotelMumbai - no where in the film is it mentioned that the terrorists came from Pakistan. Which is a shame! #TIFF18 @TIFF_NET

*By not mentioning the terrorists were Pakistanis, their handlers were speaking to them from Pakistan #HotelMumbai is NOT a truthful film! Many in the west are clueless about the facts. There has to be reason why Pakistan's name is left out! #TIFF18 #fail Throughout the film the terrorists are on phone speaking in Punjabi with their handler. And lots of references to Islam and jihad. But no Pakistan.

PS: Whats ur opinion on this??
