srk was most defo a lesser star than madhuri at that time, plus he was playing th villain, unless salman was playing a hard core villain in the movie saajan, your arguement makes no sense, so it is you who is the moron, who cannot stand someone calling any other person a bigger star than salman, even in the early 90s, when fact is that even when sanjay dutt came out of prison, salman has given major flops, he couldn't save any of the movies dutt starred in with him, at least saajan was a big hit. Salman reinvented himself in 2009, before that SRK and Aamir were eating him alive.

srk and aamir did NOT ate him alive before 2009...ur knowledge is POOR even for that era... salman was NOT doing his best unlike in 90s or post 2009 during early/mid 2000s but still he was giving HITS every year...tere naam (his performacene was appreciated even by harsh critics in that), No entry, mujhe se shadi karo ge, hur dil jo pyar karega, chori chori chupke chupke, dulhan hum ley jayengay, maine pyar kiyun kiya, Partner etc even during that lull period.
