Not sure about other gururs..
but JAggi vasu dev (sadhguru) is the REAL DEAL..real guru in real sense...
I am following him since last 6 years, doing his isha kriya meditation for a good amount of time and even met him this year in April here in Toronto...

Definitely I have noticed subtle yet very profound changes within the being... and he is not just a verbal per son but have done ALOT of diverse beneficial practical things for India

Ok if he works for you. Not for me. He copies Osho and Gurdjieff and goes off tangent when he can't answer. Btw Real deal in what way-did you get enlightened yet?

Tanu had lived in his ashram for many years and got very disillusioned. Anyway I don't care for these gurus who love opulence too much.

I don't think he's copying them. I meant his yoga and specially the dhyanalinga and yantras he has created has worked for many.

I feel people have certain expectations and when they're not fulfilled they're disappointed so don't know what tanus intentions were. Vinod khanna spent 5 years with osho but what happened? Nothing so it also depends on the person.

The way isha is structured, they won't allow you to bullshit yourself and many can't do it. The advance programs are not easy

I am generally wary of things that have worked for other people when I don't know them personally. Even Nirmal Baba has audience in thousands.
He's totally copied their style where he tries to give a new out of the box spin to everyday matters. I wanted to experience that turiya and I don't see he's done it himself.
The spin he gives to everyday things with some psychology thrown in, doesn't impress me. I can think better than that. But it works for most people who go through life like machines with ne'er an original thought.. I've read almost everything of note Osho's ever said and I was once even into some of his that one single moment of pure awareness meditation. He used to mention Gurdjieff a lot so I read some of this works too and watched the movie. Wasted so much time on their techniques...but anyway things happen when they happen.
I've not personally witnessed his Dhyanlinga so can't say anything about that but go visit a huge chunk of quartz as shivlinga or something,...anyone can feel those strong energies. Don't know what his Dhyanlinga is made of.
And if you've some links I would like to have a look at his yantras. Did he construct them himself? Because yantras are powerful and they already exist. So what's his contribution there?
Btw I don't want to dissuade anyone. If he gives people solace or something why should I mind.
But as far as I'm concerned, I haven't heard a single new pearl of wisdom from him.

He has created dhyanalinga and yantras himself. If he doesn't resonate with you that's fine and as he says don't believe him but try it out meaning try out his programs which I found to be very cheap in India.

What I've found that all this can easily become just talk which you agree or disagree with so I feel we should practice more to see whether they work or not.

I've been guilty of it myself as listening is easier, feeding the mind as entertainment but doing it is different.

He certainly hasn't invented the wheel nor does he pretends too. All of it is in yoga sutras

What I've found that many talk according to the audience they've as you've to relate to them to get it.

Best would be to try it out with open mind without any prejudice as that can come in the way because we want to be right so just to prove them wrong we might not even allow ourselves to experience it and then tell ourselves see i was right, lol

shambhavi maha mudra is his basic practice which he teaches in inner engineering. Most are happy just doing that and still see results

I remember one guy who went to all the programs but he didn't want to experience change his attitude was to prove him wrong that it doesn't work so it didn't for him. It's best to not waste your time if that's the attitude
