Ignorance is bliss.
How can people with clear conscience actually come on here and pretend like what Saif is saying is a lie. It's happening all around us, every single day. From female celebs/politicians getting rape threats to journalists being threatened with death if they write against the government.

Here's an excerpt, the complete freedom of the press has been snatched away. But can't argue with fools. They'll believe whatever they're TOLD to believe.

"its annual World Press Freedom Index released on Wednesday, the Paris-based Reporters Without Borders said that India was now 138th-ranked in the world out of 180 countries measured, down two positions since 2017 and lower than countries like Zimbabwe, Afghanistan and Myanmar. When the index was started in 2002, India was ranked 80th out of 139 countries surveyed.

Reporters Without Borders said that "with Hindu nationalists trying to purge all manifestations of 'anti-national' thought from the national debate, self-censorship is growing in the mainstream media and journalists are increasingly the targets of online smear campaigns by the most radical nationalists, who vilify them and even threaten physical reprisals."

I think he isn't wrong. I think he is saying there are people who will be so outraged or from a Sangh or some extremist org who will kill you if you speak against the govt. Not really get killed by the govt. for speaking against it. So yeah that's possible in India. You don't know what kind of crazy people there are around you unless you get in a situation with them.

cangress is worst in this ...when kejriwaal doing dharna with aana ,congress stopped metro for 6-7 hours so ppl cant reach to support them ,they send legal notice if you ay something to gandhi parivaar , they start income tax inquiry on ppl if they say something against congress so congress also do this ...none party is saint ,it just those who hate sangh bcs its support hindu r speak n target it.

Not exactly if you don't have proof against the officials. While many reporters have been killed for the information they managed to get against corrupt individuals. Killing for a show or movie is too far fetched. Max you can see posters being burnt down or ban on the show.

I'm not talking about the govt. I said non govt people, from extremist org get outraged over statements and can go to crazy lengths to make their point. But yeah all political parties are the same. Not going to support any over this.

@BOLD - Enough to prove this is a bogus agenda driven survey. Any person with even a single brain cell would know not to place Afghanistan, Myanmar, and Zimbabwe above India in terms of press freedom. I mean LOL!

And Saif you are still alive for saying this! He is definitely delusional or unfairly biased against the Govt. So many people say so many things on internet and media including the RaGa. Some comments are offensive, abusive towards PM and still nothing has happened to them
