Sanjay Dutt's daughter Trishala upset with Ranbir Kapoor's 'Sanju'?.

Ranbir Kapoor starrer Sanjay Dutt biopic
titled Sanju has been creating havoc at the
ticket windows. The Rajkumar Hirani film
has managed to impress the audience and
the critics alike. While a number of tinsel-
town dwellers took to their social media
pages to share their thoughts about the
Dutt biopic, Sanjay Dutt's daughter from his
first wife Richa Sharma, Trishala Dutt hasn't
really been vocal about the film.
While at the trailer launch of Sanjay Dutt's
comeback film Bhoomi, a special video
message from Trishala was played in the
presence of the media, there was nothing of
the sort when the teaser, trailer, songs of
the Sanjay Dutt biopic, or even when the film
Sanju hit the theatres.
While Trishala is pretty fond of her father
and doesn't really miss any occasion of
expressing her love for him on social media,
one couldn't help but notice how she's been
tight lipped about Sanju, since she hasn't
shared anything about the film. It's already
known that Trishala's mom Richa was a
significant part of Sanjay's life. She died of
cancer a few years after their marriage but
in the entire film, neither Richa Sharma, nor
Trishala have even been mentioned even for
once.
The movie only talks about one of Sanjay
Dutt's former girlfriends (played by Sonam
Kapoor). Sonam's character, by admission of
the makers, is an amalgamation of several
women in the life of Sanjay Dutt. But the
movie doesn't even acknowledge the
existence of Trishala (or her mother)
anywhere, while the character of Dutt's kids
with his third wife Maanayata Dutt do get
some screen time. On the other hand, Dia
Mirza, who plays Maanayata, can be seen in
chunks throughout the length of the film.
Quite a lot of fans have also pointed out that
how can a biopic on Sanjay Dutt simply do
away with his first two wives - Richa
Sharma and Rhea Pillai?
Rumour mills are now busy churning that
Trishala is upset over the fact that neither
her mother, nor herself have been
acknowledged in Sanju. Whether the
speculations are true or not, that only
Trishala can tell.

Unless she knew prior and was ok with it, I would be somewhat upset too. Despite being his first born, I feel like she is basically relegated to a step child. for SD it seems like his kids with Maanayata mean more to help since he has always been around for them and I know social media should not be the measuring tape, but he posts much more about the younger two than about Trishala, where as Trishala def posts more about him the he does about her. Kinda sad- Not as bad as Raj Kundra types, but still a lame father. After he cleaned up his act, it was up tp him to reach out to her and fix his relationship after losing custody.

Tbh trishala should be content otherwise PR Agent hirani would have shown that everything wrong was with his ex wived and he was poor sod victim probably bcz he saw successful marriage of his parents and couldn't lived up to it.

In stead of being upset with "Ranbir's Sanju", she should be upset with her dad Sanju for all his kaands. 😳

I was surprised that there was no mention of his first two wives or the other kid at all. Really weird imo. There were so many scenes which added no value to the story. Boman Irani's character especially added nothing to the movie. Hirani only concentrated on drug abuse and terrorist tag but ignored Sanjay Dutt, the person beyond drugs and crimes.

Their whole focus was on whitewashing Sanjay dutt so they forgot about his first born maybe. Sad though.

Meh. It was a movie made to whitewash Sanjay. Trishala should have known better.
