Just saw Raazi today. The movie was really good & alia was the whole and soul of the movie. The show was houseful & I heard people talking about alia. Almost all my friends are Alia fans. She is popular amongst the young audience. Way ahead of her competitors. Why wouldn't she be any directors first choice now?

The biggest difference between Yrf and Dharma is YRF has no issues in throwing their mentees under the bus. They've single handedly ruined Parineeti's (she is also to blame though) career. This is exactly why Shraddha and Sushant got out of there, because they weren't benefiting from it. There're too many actors on their roster, and ulitmately they have to do round-robin to keep evertyone happy.

When ppl get a chance to watch difference faces , like Kriti in BKB , Disha in Baaghi, Vidya in tumhari Sullu etc they do spend money on them too but options are less

but all of these actress you named had also given Begum Jaan, Raabta and Kung-Fu Yoga
in the same frame of time. Plus Disha was a glam doll in Baghi, not comparable with the other three. Also BKB was not a hit, TS was also not a hit. Not even a semi-hit.
Plus the like there was also Bhumi, you know who was hardly praised in the forum for TEPK because she acted against Akki, the evil Canadian deshbhakt, did two hit movies last year with SMS&TEPK, they were actually hit movies unlike Sulu or BKB and also was appreciated in all quarters, but hardly was praised by any non-Akki in this forum.
Than there are the likes of Deepika, Anushka, Kangana, Tapsee and so on, who all did movies last year, someone of them in fact more movies than Alia, still could not have the success rate of Alia(except Deepika).There I am leaving the other actually real life popular actresses like Jacqueline, Shraddha and Katrina, since they are not precisely known for their acting chops.
While it is true Alia is working with the best people, and has all the backing, but that does not mean she is doing all the roles and audience have no option.
