He did many solo movies after that and still doing it. Even now be it bhoomi, saheb aur torbaaz he is the lead

And how many of them are hits 😆 Munnabhai series, Vaastav were the only memorable stuff he did since his second stint in BW but he couldnt reach the Saajan,Saadak etc level again

Am not one to talk about personal lives, but since the topic is about it your comment above is the reason celebs fight to stay out of jail and not serve their time. Sanjay has paid for his dues for however long he stayed in prison he did time and came out hopefully a reformed man, changed himself is out of controversy. Point being he is out, atoned for his crime clean slate, ppl should move on now, if folks are still gonna harbor grudges towards him even after he does his time in prison then wth is the point of them going to prison they might as well fight to stay out of it and con the system like other celebs do if it means ppl still carrying bitter grudges towards them, ppl do stupid terrible things when they're young but he's repented done his time and that should be that. He ain't no pedo or rapist for ppl to carry on condemning him

Even I am wondering the same. Why a biopic on Sanjay? Never could wrap my head around it.

But, now that the film is made, hopefully it will be good and wont glorify him. His mistakes as well as his reformation will be shown in an objective(lol) manner.

You didn't say they needed to be hits but the point is he is still relevant and getting movies. If he did content oriented movies then they would be hit but his script sense is shit so we get shitty movies which would be hard even for Salman to make it a hit like bhoomi
