Sanjay Dutt is a living person who has some really serious charges against him...He is one of those poor little rich guys who has had too much time, money and power to flaunt around and make the choices he has made...If the movie even remotely shows him as a victim, it will be wrong at so many levels...We have to remember that Ranbir Kapoor has nothing to do with Sanjay's life...As far as the movie is concerned, Ranbir as usual seemed to have delivered yet another impeccable performance but the criticism at large is towards the theme of the movie which is totally understandable...

Judgements should be made after the movie release. If its glorification of his crimes then everyone has the right to say. Nothing from the movie was shown except from 30 sec small glimpses which doesnt give away the movie. Anyway I am sensible enough to separate Ranbir's portrayal from real life of Sanjay Dutt.

However, the irony is people who are shouting glorification chants are the fans of a certain actor who himself glorified a barbaric ruler in cartoonish way. That ruler was a real person just like sanjay is. I think you failed to see the pattern my friend. Also some people would actually spend money on an actor and will watch his movie who is convicted (say Sanjay Dutt or Salman Khan) but raise their eyebrows if movie is made on them with their consent 😆 Announce a movie of Deepika and Ranveer with Sanjay and they will rush to theatres. Why dont boycott him plainly then? So the objections are not related to Sanjay's life in any case. Problem is because Ranbir is there so lets do the unnecessary bashing and make yourself look stupid 😆

Ofcourse it has nothing to do with neutrals who are not interested. But lack of interest is shown just by ignoring the topic and by not asking the same question rhetorically at each and every thread acting like sore losers 😆

No in that film the barbaric ruler was antagonist.

In this film the protagonist is a suspected terrorist. Making jokes about guns

Hirani wanted to make it he made it those who want to see it, will go... how can you dictate what other people should do with their money 😆

Movies like TZH and Padmaavat mocked by you were actually watched by millions who paid money from their pocket😉 Cannot say the same about much awaited Bombay Velvet which was hyped to the same level as Dutt. Time will tell how many spend their hard earner money.

Hirani is best director in Bollywood...dont expect khali bali type gutter trash from him...in the end it will be good movie.

Its kindda like doubting a class batsman...form can fluctuate but class i permanent..those who are claiming its a parody..its a joke..its clownish...well if someone is going to play sanjay dutt it is going to look like sanjay dutt...what a stupid argument

at least he served the punishment.. he is better than people in position of power who play with lives of innocents all over the world and are popular leaders...

i am fed of bigotry...

Seriously, he was the antagonist, that was loud and clear..

For months now, people have been complaining about Khilji's villain act because it's "too negative", he was made out to be a barbarian but he was "actually civilized", Khilji was shown so wild and brutal because SLB wanted to appease Rajputs and "anti-Muslim agenda", blah blah.

Now suddenly it's the complete opposite and the issue is he was glorified? What the.. 😆😆
