One doesn't need to be a devta to protect his friends from something. I have seen people getting rusticated from schools, colleges in that spirit to save friendships and friends, taking serious blames of ragging bullying upon themselves.
Only that Bishnoi lady apparently 'knows' what happened there, not us. But such claims from a veteran industry person who has nothing to gain from the industry anymore, makes it fishier. Also, she's not the only one who is saying this. There are others too.
And the whole verdict of acquitting the other 4 anyways gives the whole judgement a grey shade.
Khair, like I said, what difference would it make now. Let him serve his jailtime and come out as stronger one.
