Alka Yagnik Or Shreya Goshal - Better Romantic Singer? - Page 2

Both are great singers but I prefer Alka who sings at a high pitch but it's still enjoyable. It doesn't grate on you..Shreyas voice is softer but Alka has more range and is more expressive. I love her songs like Soldier Soldier, San Sana - Asoka Hum Tum, Chori Chori Dekha Tumhe from OJJ to name few she made ordinary songs sound extraordinary.

Alka Yagnik for the win! Her voice is so melodious thus best for romantic songs, plus she has better range.

Shreya is better of course. Being a 90's kid I miss Alka & udit. But her voice was too sweet and not suitable for all types of songs. Shreya has a better range. Her voice is young and thin.

strange to see shreya winning she is great but alka ki awaz me sukoon and therow bhout hai shreya can not sing taal pe jab yeh ka alaaap jo alka ne lgaya tha shuru me and with the Hayeee part it always give goosebumps

Shreya over all, I love her voice and seriously watching her in a live show is a treat! I've been lucky enough to see her in concert live twice and she is seriously awesome!
Alka is great too though

Shreya.. I love her voice and almost all songs of hers .. she has a better range than Alka imo.. plus being a Bengali I have a soft corner for SG lol 😆
