Some Christian women convert to Islam for marriage, does that mean Christianity is more oppressive to women than Islam?

Women don't need to convert from Christianity to Islam.. A Muslim man can marry a christian woman without having to change religion

Also I personally don't believe that love should mean giving up your religion. I would never ever even think of falling in love with someone who doesn't follow my religion forget converting. If your faith and belief is strong then no love shove will make you change your religion.

A Hindu marrying a Muslim is invalid in Islam because both have to be Muslim to marry each other. It's not legal in Islam.

If the couple desires to be married without converting all they need to do is marry and register it under the SPECIAL MARRIAGE ACT in India 1954
  1. Any person, irrespective of religion.[5]
  2. Hindus, Muslims, Buddhists, Jains, Sikhs, Christians, Parsis, or Jews can also perform marriage under the Special Marriage Act, 1954.[5]
  3. Inter-caste marriages are performed under this Act.[5]
  4. This Act is applicable to the entire territory of India (excluding the state of Jammu and Kashmir) and extends to intending spouses who are both Indian nationals living abroad.[5]
  5. Indian national living abroad. [6]
  6. The parties have to file a Notice of Intended Marriage in the specified form to the Marriage Registrar of the district in which at least one of the parties to the marriage has resided for a period of not less than thirty days immediately preceding the date on which such notice is given.[7]

  7. After the expiration of thirty days from the date on which notice of an intended marriage has been published, the marriage may be solemnised, unless it has been objected to by any person.
  8. The marriage may be solemnised at the specified Marriage Office.[7]
  9. Marriage is not binding on the parties unless each party states "I, (A), take thee (B), to be my lawful wife (or husband)," in the presence of the Marriage Officer and three witnesses.[7]

So if they want to maintain their own religious beliefs, there is really no need to convert.

It's a personal choice.

I don't know enough about other religions to even talk about them. But instead of outraging every time someone converts and leaves Hinduism, use that attention and time to make improvements in the religion itself. You can't hold anyone to the religion with a gun to their head. If they want to leave, forget them.

Patriarchy and subjugation of women is common to all religions - some more and some less. I have seen so many backward Hindu families as well - city living educated types who send their kids abroad for college. They will perform pujas on one hand and then demand dowry with the other hand. Women are expected to do everything according to their husband's culture, including what types of food they eat and which holidays they celebrate.

Look inward and improve your own culture and forget the ones that leave. It's a waste of time to outrage about someone that didn't care enough to stay.

I have heard numerous stories of muslim women ordered to marry their own father in law after being raped by them as per progressive sharia law.
Anyone who reads newspapers know I am not faking it.lol

Other than that hope she enjoys her life surrounded by burkhas and orange beards in Muslim ghettos .. 😆😆

Judaism and Zoroastrians(Paris's) don't convert. You have to be born to it 99% cases. So they don't practice this deleting of a woman's identity nonsense
