I dont see what pride is in changing your identity. Basically, denying what you were before. This is how slowly & silently they get to you. First little insistence and then full blown change and you dont even realize how much you have changed. Harsh fact: this is a way to increase this particular religion's population. Otherwise why would any guy from this religion not convert into any other religion?!

My aunt married a Christian man and they have 3 kids. They had a church wedding as it was easier and they were young and she was happy to do it. But she is very much not a Christian and from their 3 kids their older daughter follows both religions (or not serious about either), middle son is more in to church than the other one so I guess he is more of a Christian & the youngest son is 100% following mom's religion.
And all 3 kids go to temple and church and do all religious ceremonies. Celebrate both festivals in their home.

That is a true love relationship. Not this conversation jihad!

If you care about the religion, concentrate on improving it, granting women more rights, make it more inclusive, stop keeping women out of temples or considering ones who have periods to be dirty, etc. There are so many things that need to be done to improve life for the ones who want to stay Hindus. The ones that convert would not have had any backbone even if they stayed Hindus. The children would grow up Islamic anyway so what difference does it make if the woman pretends to stay Hindu? Look at our ridiculously named Taimur Ali Khan. 😆

hindu women have more liberty, equal rights than any other religion's women. If there wasn't liberty and equality, dipika wouldn't be marrying a muslim in the first place.
