Can the man sue the police and her if she is proven making it up? Considering his name face his family pics everything has been violated?
If he is guilty it's ok. But if not?

Publicity or not, why didn't she protest or raise alarm then is a question thrown around to point fingers at victims
Any woman, who has ever been violated know how fast and horrible it is and how numbing it is. You just stop functioning. Considering 1 in every 3 women get molested at every 5s, at some point of time this lady also faced something like that.

If a celebrity like Zaira is called names and publicity hungry, imagine what regular girls / women go through: and then you ask why didn't yoy speak?

As for presence of Mother
Go read Taylor Swift molestation to know how perverts do what they do despite the presence of security guards, personal body guards and family members, their own family members or partners

There is only so much a woman can do to protect herself

Time to teach these assholes a thing or two about the misuse of their male privilege

Here the situation is different...The name of a minor victim is never revealed but here she being a celebrity, it's all over the media. She is being hounded by various people, calling her publicity hungry and demeaned on various social platform. Just look at this thread, would you expect the same response for common minor person.

if she had reported the incident to airline crew n airline did not step in then it wld have made sense but she kept quiet not even after landing then decides to go on social media being molested or being groped is an unpleasant thing n no young girl shld ever go through it n public n police shld always come in support of every female regardless of age but being accused of molest too is unpleasant for a man

I think it is unfair to judge either the girl or the man without proof. None of us were there, none of us saw what happened. Yes, instances of molestation are unfortunately high, but that does not mean we can label someone a pedophile or molester without it being proven. Those are serious accusations that can (and will) ruin a person's life, and not only their life, but their whole family's too. Even if Zaira's accusation is proven false, who will look at that man the same again?

I agree that him putting his foot on the arm rest is disgusting and is a dirty practice, but I've seen both men and women doing it during my many trips abroad. It's gross and whenever it happened to me, I requested them to stop or called an air hostess. It makes the guy gross, but that alone doesn't make him a pedophile. That's like saying every thief is a murderer. Thievery is wrong, yes, but it's not as criminal as murder. Only if a thief commits murder is he a murderer. Otherwise a thief and a murderer do not get the same sentence or punishment.

So people who're saying the man should be punished regardless aren't understanding the whole picture. Yes, Zaira does have the right to file a case against him if she felt harassed, but in the end of the day, none of us should be judging him until something is proven either way, because we don't have that right. He shouldn't be automatically guilty just for being a man. That's not feminism. And if Zaira did do this as a publicity stunt, then too she should face legal consequences, because she is sending the wrong message and ruining the chance for true victims of abuse to be heard.

In the end of the day, we weren't there. We can speculate and wonder, but we shouldn't judge, not Zaira, not that man and certainly not his wife.

The fact that Mumbai police had to intervene and come up saying that they have strong evidence against accused goes one to show the amount fo trolling this young girl is recieving ...police statement should just put a tape on the fingers of everyone writing and questioning here 🤔

Ths thread is an eye opener and clearly removes the veil of quiet a few here who always champion for women rights or cry bucket when one of their fav actress gets trolled ...selective morals .

Why not wait for police to do their job and then question ?

If u r pointing at me honestly I find the scenario fishy n I said that. I have been accused many times for taking a woman's side even when she was half at fault because usually I favor the woman to the point of unfairness.
This case didn't add up to me. Still doesn't. And I told it

If he intentionally touched the girl I'd rejoice in him being made a good example for that. BUT what I worry is if he isn't proven and this sets back so much distance that people's opinions have been changed about over the past years. One high profile faulty case is enough for a horde of bas***d to get away and abuse it in years to come pointing fingers at a case liek this

The reason police responded AFAIK is cz people were tagging Mumbai police and asking the contradictions in it where other passengers testified
