Now that's one really sad news. Ace
filmmaker, Kundan Shah, who has given us
films like Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro and Kabhi Haan
Kabhi Na passed away in his sleep last night.
He suffered a heart attack in his sleep. The
69-year-old filmmaker was known for his
cult classic, Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro. He has also
directed one of the most loved TV shows,
Wagle Ki Duniya. Kundan Shah also
directed another TV show called Nukkad. He
was one of those National Award winners
who had announced that they're returning
their awards back in 2015 to protest
against the growing intolerance in the
country.
Popular films like Dil Hai Tumhara and Kya
Kehna were also some of his popular works.
Twitter has been mourning the death of this
filmmaker and it is indeed quite a sad day
for everyone. He will be missed terribly.
Kundan Shah has given cinema some of the
best films and TV shows that we've seen
growing up. Though no one from the
filmmaker's family has given a statement yet,
we're sure they're devastated and hope they
get through this tough time soon. Twitterati
are expressing their emotions on the social
platform and naming Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro as
one of his best films. (ALSO READ: Kundan
