I think it means someone young and naive in a dangerous, unfamiliar situation and all alone

Kinda "damsel in distress"

It means Kangu exactly knew what she was doing

Edit: Hope this was not a rhetorical question 😊

I have to google for rhetorical meaning now 😆.

😆 This forums helps you develop your vocabulary

I know my vocabulary knowledge has expanded since I became active here esp. curse, vulgar words esp in Hindi (Some English too)

Rhetorical Question is when the person asking the question already knows the answer but poses the question for an effect

It has happened to me here a few times,.. I answer a person's question, then they say it was rhetorical question...

Kangu exactly knew what she was doing...

I believe she did. When I see posts of her being the symbol of feminism, I cringe. Female empowerment is not manipulating or persuading some man to do what you want using your feminine wiles...

Yes men fall for feminine wiles... they are not blameless.

more than vocabulary I developed rationalism( whatever little.. I don't say I am complete rational) from this forum. I sued to be so dumb and narrow minded and Now lot of my opinions on social issues changed a lot and understand them at broader perspective. Thanks to the members of these forums.

Men who hit women are vile. Full stop.
I really don't believe she tells the truth about her age. She has always claimed she was 17 when he hit her and she filed FIR. He says they lived together 3 years. So is she claiming she was 14 when they moved in together or she stayed with him after he hit her. I suppose the latter since now she says beatings (plural).

No doubt Aditya realized her position and youth. But he left his wife for her and lived openly with her. He says he adored her and wanted to marry her. I think she knew exactly what she was doing and used him for any and everything he could give her and do for her and then moved on to the Suman boy without bothering to tell Aditya - not exactly stellar behavior on her part. But no one under any circumstances deserves to be beaten and I do believe he was violent with her. So sympathy to Kangana and full shame on Aditya on that score.

Still can't help but notice it is so totally Kangana to expect her married lovers wife to help her. Why not? In Kangana land only the husband is a cheater in an extramarital relationship.

^Because she doesn't really have any support as her relationships within her own family are also messy. Especially in those days when she had run away from home. She was just a minor and an old man took advantage of her vulnerability. It says how emotionally silly and weak she was that she actually thought she could go to the married man's wife to help her.

Sorry but a 16-17 year old kid cannot take advantage of a 40-something old man with a wife and family. To even think in that manner is unbelievable.

She (and her fans) also behaves like she's the first and only actress do to female oriented roles in BW and find some success

There have been so many great actresses in BW who could carry the whole movie on their shoulders (and unlike Kangu their performances were truly remarkable IMO) and had great success for decades... many actresses were also sole bread winners of their family, many were from very poor families... They had to do movies to eat, to pay the bills... They had no other choice... Imagine the pressure

Maybe they had family suppprt unlike her but I think BW and Indian society was even MC then...

It seems Kangu is unable to handle the success she got and it has gone to her head
