On Monday, CBI laid down fresh reports in response to Rabiya's plea. In the reports, CBI has stated that they carried out.
During the special court's hearing on Monday, the CBI revealed that the forensic laboratory could not recover the "deleted messages" from Jiah Khan;s boyfriend Sooraj Pancholi's (accused of abetting her suicide) phone.
The CBI carried out investigations regarding the deleted messages from the blackberry mobile of the accused.
"The mobile was forwarded to FSL Gandhinagar, Gujarat, for analysis. But they could not recover the deleted messages from the mobile," the CBI said. It said that the report regarding this was attached with the chargesheet.
Reportedly, the CBI still stands firm on it's statements that "Jiah's death was a suicide".
