What is this nonsense with fairness creams. If fairness creams are racist then so is hair color. It's a personal choice! #NotRacist

Now everyone will attack him but he spoke the truth. It is just a matter of choice.

LMAO. Fairness cream racist? 😆 Kuch bhi. People have got to stop pretending they are white liberals be happy in their own culture and skin. This wannabe white-ism and faux SJW-ism is downright pathetic.

Brown gulab jaaman does racism against black gulab jaman

Besan ka laddo does racism against brown gulab jaman

Rasgullah does racism against besan ka laddo

Then there are class issues with barfi elite and rich than wet rasgulalhs

Then differences in orientations with jaleebi and imarti treated as not traditional

Religious differences are there with some mithai like moti chor ke laddo etc choice of particular religion

Ethnic differneces with multan ka halwaa vs rasgullah ..fight between punjabis and bengalis

Hippo is beyond these things. He treats them equally and would like to eat them all. Problem is Hippo cannot eat sweets because of his sexiness and to maintain it.

Point is world is a messed place these days.. really going down the drain and I am not just saying it for sake of it. People really need to step back and reduce hate in them for others. Treat others as human and not put label white black etc.

What relations do fairness creams and hair color have? What is with bollywood, first pencil boxes, and now hair colors... They need to up their analogy game. 😆 and if it wasn't obvious already, IMO uday is an idiot! 🥱

Fairness cream in India might not be a racist issue considering most of us are all one race (unless you want to be very technical) but it certainly is a colorism issue and it is highly problematic. No one will ever turn down a black haired girl for the color of her hair but a darker skinned girl is directly or indirectly shamed quite often. We are always told fair is beautiful. In bollywood there are no dark skinned heroines. Among our current lot I think DP, Pari and Priyanka might be the darkest before this Rani and Bips were considered the dusky beauties when they are no where near as dark as many Indian girls. In your ads you literally show that a dark girl is unappealing until she whitens her skin. THAT IS A PROBLEM!! That is not "A PERSONAL CHOICE" Uday when your society and your media tells you that you have to be light skinned to be beautiful.
Uday Chopra is an idiot for making such comparison. Now we get to add one more ignorant moron to the list.

Using a product to achieve artificial results.

ie. Indian people who almost always have natural black hair using dyes and bleaches to get blond, brown, orange hair colors.

vs.

Using a product to achieve lighter skin. I would assume fairness creams, light foundations, etc, all fit into that.

In either case, people are using tools and products to look different they were naturally. Colored contact lenses are also a big thing amongst Indians.

Why is it so frowned upon to want lighter skin but it's okay to lighten your hair and lighten your eyes? Either way, they are moving towards looking more Caucasian or mixed.
