Why take the look test without reading the script and waste everybody's including her own and majidi ji 's valuable time? That makes a lot of sense 😛

What is the movie about anyway? Did he try Priyanka? If he likes to do look test without actors even reading and liking the script then why not spend his time trying PC...

He could book an Iranian actress and make her look Indian

That's what they do on US tv shows, lots of times for Indian characters , granted they are small roles, they take middle eastern actors

If its not clear already, its actually Majid Majidi's PR..He has made his film most wanted by creating a mirage that Deepu (Ormax No.1 and prawn curry expert) and Kangana(best actress and black magic expert) are fighting for it (and added PC angle thereby indirectly snubbing SRK too 😲)..

Deepika isn't looking for this type of film at this stage of her career.

Then why did she even DO the look test? Not only do, but Publish the look test. How many look tests of actors actresses hv we seen? None.

She didn't like the script. Again, why do a look test and leak it if you haven't even read the script? Like someone said, wasting time of everyone.

Yet another example of erratic behaviour. Had her over zealous PR not tomtommed thatDeepika is being considered for a Majidi film, they wouldn't hv to cover up with such lame excuses.

At least Kanganas excuse is plausible. She is known for wanting equal or more footage than hero after her recent films successes. We will know when the film is made and released. What the heroines role is.

I don't think Majidi is making a film with intent of doing 300crore business that this is his PR. Most forum members don't even know his films but they seem to be acclaimed internationally and critically, not because some vin diesel or angelinajolie is acting in it.

Right.. Iran has seven levels of censorship, yet the filmmakers there make films passing all those barriers making the point they wanted to convey. We could learn a great deal from them.

I knew you'd love it. I haven't watched the other two movies myself. Need to give them a watch.
