No I haven't watched it. I don't get to watch tv anymore, so if it not online I can't watch it. ๐ญ
Mages follow your heart and have hope ๐ณ. I think we are over complicating it when AS has already said it's a simple love story about love that is felt, and expressed through the eyes. He loves those silent loves. I keep going back to the poster.

We know Amar is not dead, yet in the top set he is black and white as if he is a ghost from their past. And the tag line says you can't let go of the past without facing it again. It's about letting go of the past, not returning to it. If it was about returning, AS could've said something like you can't move forward without moving back, or you can't move forward without returning to the past.
In the 2nd picture she is standing with Shekhar while looking at the ghost Amar. Kind of reminded me of this. http://www.tirakita.com/movie_mus_cd/Photos/mcd_48.jpg
It does worry me a little that As has said "I have written a very old fashioned love story. It is about making sacrifices. It is about waiting for someone for years. The selflessness has kind of disappeared from love. And this story celebrates selflessness."
So maybe Shekhar will leave them at the end but then I feel like he has loved Taran for a while now. He has loved her secretly, and silently. He has loved her in a selfless way where he gave her happiness but never asked for her love in return. That is enough selflessness for one movie. ๐
In the bottom set it says time to be happy again and happiness is with Shekhar. They could've cut him out of the fourth poster but they didn't because that is where she is happy again.
I will be happy no matter who she ends up with but my heart and my mind is saying it's Shekhar. I could be wrong, but I think AS wants to tell a simple, straightforward story. 5 more days and we will find out who it is ๐
