after watching the trailer many times...i don't understand this scene...in the gurudwara...taran says to amar that no matter how much she loves him...she has someone else in her life now...i don't quite understand this scene...neither her family force her to accept shekhar...neither she is engaged or married to shekhar nor she has accepted her love for shekhar...infact after amar's re-entry...SheTaran has distance themselves from each other...i don't think they even meet each other...why does she say that she has someone else in her life when she herself is not sure abt her feelings for shekhar...though i appreciate her honesty for telling the truth to amar that after the incident happen with him...shekhar enter into her life...its his call whether he accepts her or rejects her...quiite a confusing scene...

I don't get the gurudwara scene either. I assumed she was getting engaged or at least is engaged. The part that makes it even more confusing is Amar's dialogue on how it is not their faults.

no matter how much she loves amar but there is someone else in her life...she is confused...i am confused too...what does she mean...she was never committed to shekhar in the first in any sense...

No, I'm pretty sure that Taran and Shekhar are engaged or something. Because in the Teri fairyaad song, Aashim hugs neha and shekhar and walk away, while the two of them walk in a different direction. So I don't know who neha really loves, but I think she feel guilty to leave Aditya as he helped her in her difficult times.
