U cannot be called hindu when u believe in Allah

I get that

Point is that let people decide on their own..let them find the path...there is no need to judge them as less muslim more muslim..i do not believe in changing other..i think the best change comes from them learning themselves

In this day and age all is open and there is no need for anyone to take responsibility and correct others

This model of Hippo fits on all religion ...

In the end all is just a belief and not on fact..its faith. Be strong in your faith ...

that is my thought process

sorry to butt in but...

I don't know about muslims but a hindu will always be called a hindu even if he believes in Allah...

and you are wrong about Hinduism believing in multiple Gods... In the core of Hinduism there is only one god... just like water, where if you add a certain color to its it takes its properties smilarly God is pure Brahm (the eternal truth) ... add some properties like ability to create, sustain and destroy and they becaome Brahma, Vishnu, or Mahesh... but they are all essentially the brahm... just like red water, green water, or blue water... are all essentially water...
i will stop here because I don't want to divert this thread to a whole different tangent...I hope u understand what I'm trying to convey 😳

Then why target only Soha? Her mom is a Hindu and also her husband.

I get what you say but how do these get the right to speak bullshit to anybody?

This is because she is considered Muslim by birth (because of dad). Examples given by you are male married to Hindu. According to them, its an achievement to marry hindu woman (they think its' like converting them..)
On the other hand if Muslim girl marries hindu guy, its like leaving your caste which is taboo for them. Hope it makes sense

It wasn't directed at you or any other poster. It was directed towards the title of the article.
Yes Shiva,Ganesh,Durga all are forms representing one supreme being the "Paramatma". There is no religion called Hinduism. Ancient Indians believed in spirituality and thanked God for whatever is created around them. The offering of prayers is towards only one supreme being but there is reverence for everything created by that supreme being.
I would've preferred them calling it her visiting Ganesh temple/pandal instead of the moronic expression of Hindu God.

Suzanne's family - her father, uncle were a truly secular family... It was not just for show

Feroz Khan and his family were very liberal and secular even back then... In many ways religious fanaticism has increased now bcz of Internet... It's weird but true

so is Hinduism a monotheist religion?

No need to be sorry..thanks for the information and wonderfully explained

hippo has discussed hinduism with different friends but i always thought they are not clear..some told me that there is one God Eishwar and then others told there are many

i stopped asking lol..

there should be one para explaining core view of hinduism to everyone which every hindu believes in..so that we know basics
