Its the women's fault really that they dont go to the police and get such men arrested for their abuse!

They are the enablers because they put up with the abuse and then deny it ever happened.
All for the sake of career and stardom. 🤢

I believe her now. He absolutely has & he absolutely does & will continue to do so because he's an excuse of a human being & his biggest enablers are his family & fans & I feel most sorry for the rabid fans who defend this criminal & mentally sick human being.. Family have their Love Blinders solidly secured.

That is the problem that their enablers let them get away with anything and instead of any change it only worsens the problem. South Asian culture not only just India but even abroad these issues are quite common. It happens everyday to even progressive and highly educated women.

I've read this too. About Somy being dragged by her hair. That time he was not this famous. He is one of those..do the crime, say sorry, ply with gifts, and think he is a great person. he picked fight with Ranbir at a disco, caught him by the collar , that time Ranbirs film was yet to release in films..when he knew next day he sent an expensive gift.which Ranbir did not accept I think.
I heard neetu acknowledge some of this in interview.

@bold: He has a heart of gold, okay?! Don't you know how much work he does for Being Human?!! /s

As an aside, it is completely unfair to put the onus of his abuse on the women because it absolves Salman of his cowardly actions: Salman is the monster who beats up and harasses women, not them. Most women choose not to speak up because society shuns them (See Aishwarya) and tells them to shut the f**k up by not having enough safe channels where victims of abuse can receive support (See the spineless "Film Fraternity").

Do not expect abuse victims to speak up until it can conclusively be proven that their way of life will not be further affected by the abuse - which, you will note, would not have been the case with any of Salman's ex-girlfriends because of the clout he has in the industry. That does not make his ex-girlfriends enablers like his family or his fans. His abuse is merely a chapter in their lives that they would like to forget and their decision (whatever their reasons) should absolutely be respected.

Yes, he was always a Narcissist, sadistic misogynist! Now he has become a Megalomaniac, thanks to his enablers, supporters of his crimes, his popularity and finally getting away with murder!

I agree completely that hes a Monster, created by his morally blind, fanatical fans and supportive family who help him to get away with crimes every single time!

I know he has underworld connections too and he probably used that to threaten those women he abused. Definitely he called Ash with mafia threats, that is on record.

Actually since he got away with hit and run, murder, drunk driving without a licence, poaching, then how can we expect police to take action in girlfriend abuse case?
Obviously cops didnt take action against him inspite of Ash reporting him.

A very nice write up and exactly echoes my thoughts. Victims of domestic abuse or rape are often stigmatized and terrorized where they have no avenues to seek refuge in most cases. Especially in situations of rape we often think most rapes are like full of fight and struggles but it isn't true. Most victims are broken down to such a level that they just quietly lay down and hope its over soon. To some extent it's the same in domestic abuse and as apparent by Katrina's reports. Seems like he barged into her trailer and she knew there was nowhere to run because he used fear and intimidation to such an extent that he made her a broken person. All she could do is take it till he tired up, put on her glasses and some makeup to cover her wounds and walked out. Goes to show the extent of his terror.
