Anyone who ever read a film magazine in the 90s knew for a fact that Madhuri Dixit was going to marry Sanjay Dutt in 1993. He got arrested and she dumped him. These are all facts that have been in the public domain for more than 20 years.
I do feel for her though. Everyone forgot about all that 90s saga. And for it to be dragged up today would do her image much harm. But the bigger question here is W*F would anyone want to make a biopic on Sanju????I'd rather another great film along the lines of 3 Idiots/PK!
^ Sanju's mom is my most favorite yesteryear actress. So I carry that on to him , but I would love Sri and Meena Kumari too. I would absolutely love it if your namesake wrote her life story or had someone write it. A story like hers is better than most fiction books IMO.
Perhaps I am in the minority here and I love reading biographies, but Sanju's life story has always fascinated me. Famous parents, successful starkid, tumultuous personal life, estranged daughter, drugs, imprisonment. Some lives are more fascinating than fiction and Sanju's life is one. You just cannot live a life like his and not want to read about it. I certainly want to read about it and watch it. Even if it is a heavily sanitized version it would be better than a ton of the scripts that BW can come up with IMO.Not just Sanju, but lives like Brando, Marilyn Monroe, Grace Kelley, Audrey Hepburn, Liz Taylor, Rekha, SRK, Salman, Amitabh, Guru Dutt, Raj Kapoor have all been larger than life to me, better than any movies they starred in and I love and would love biopics on them.ETA: Movies like Arth and Woh Lamhe on the life of Mahesh Bhatt for instance. I love films like that

^ I love films like that too. Just not interested in Sanjay Dutt's story. He's not in the league of Rekha, Amitabh Bachchan, Meena Kumari, Sridevi, Salman Khan.

When Abhijat (Joshi) and I sat with Sanjay for 25 days and discovered that we want to say this story because it was a human story. It's an emotional story which also has fun moments. It is also entertaining. It's about father, son, his friends and his world."
They shud make it in 2partsIt'd be very long
