No racist comments were made on Lisa Haydon, says Adaa Khan
As per a report in a leading tabloid, Akshay Kumar lost his cool on comedian Siddharth Jadhav for passing racist comments on Lisa Haydon during the shoot of Comedy Nights Bachao
Amidst stories of how Akshay Kumar lost his cool on the team of Comedy Nights Bachao, Adaa Khan gives a clarification
In what can be described as a very rare occurrence, actor Akshay Kumar reported lost his cool on the team of Comedy Nights Bachao for humiliating the leading ladies of his film, Jacqueline Fernandez and Lisa Haydon.
As per a report in MiD Day, the film's cast was on the sets of Comedy Nights Bachao to promote Housefull 3, which will release on June 3. With Comedy Nights Bachao being a comedy show, it seems like the perfect platform to promote the comic franchise. Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Jacqueline Fernandez and Lisa Haydon went for the promotions. Everything was merry initially but later things took a drastic turn.
In the show, we see Krushna Abhishek, Bharti Singh and others poking fun at the guests. It is on the roast format, so the insults are a part of the game. However, it seems, some of the stuff directed at the leading ladies was quite unacceptable. Both the actors did not like their actresses being treated in this way.
Things went haywire when Siddharth Jadhav called Lisa Haydon, a kangaroo given her Australian genes. Before that, he allegedly called her a black African. At this point, Akshay Kumar intervened and asked Siddharth to stop. What was intended to be a shove, turned into a push and Jadhav landed on the stage in full view of the audience. Later, the star told the team that it was unfair to crack such jokes on Lisa as her Hindi isn't great. Some changes were made to the script and the shoot resumed in a while.
Bollywood Life got in touch with Naagin actress Adaa Khan, who is also a part of the show. She said, "No racist comments were made on Lisa or anyone. I don't remember anyone uttering the word, African. It was a prank. All is well," she said. Well, there is no smoke without fire, girl!
*** But i think they know the format of the show...and all the actors who promote their movies on these shows do read the script..so why all this drama Akki😡 and even if this is a prank..then pushing an actor is not acceptable🥱
and btw isn't Adaa Khan, the Naagin-- better looking and a better actress too than the leading ladies of this movie😆😆 just a thought😉
