The trailer was decent and the dialogue promo especially that Fawad one were really good. I am going to catch this one.

Enjoyed the director's last, it was a pretty well made movie. Here to hoping that this one does the same.

Potential Spoilers (speculation is a better word as it just speculates about a certain character; but you have been warned);

If Fawad really is playing a homosexual, they better do his arc justice. If this turns out to be another poorly written character doing all the things homosexual people or Humans for that matter never do; then it will just add to crap that BW has made.

As for Fawad taking up such a role, I think its brilliant. There are people out there (around the world but India, Pakistan especially) that need to know that there is another side to things. That its normal to be who you are and enjoy life as it is to the fullest. But of-course for that to happen; it has be well thought-out and well written. And I hope that the screenplay doesn't falter at this most important point.

Also I think he will be fine as far as his core audience in Pakistan is concerned. They have made some pretty serious and thought-provoking movies. Watch Bol and Khuda Ke Liye, Bol where they tackle a lot of issues that are considered a taboo and you are not even allowed to bring up.

From commentary on religion and its wrong doings (A much much bigger issue in the context we are talking here), to the issues of transgender people, the role and place of women in society and so forth. The people who made those moves are fine. In-fact Shoaib Mansoor's profile has only risen after that.

Sidharth Malhotra has done an excellent job. He is superb in scenes with his family. Definitely he has come a long a way from Student of The Year as he has delivered a much mature performance.

The cross-border sensation Fawad Khan was pitch perfect in his role. His bonding with Sid was natural.

Alia Bhatt once again shines in Kapoor and Sons despite the fact that she had little less screen time as compared to her last films. The Highway actress underplays her girl nex door character with such elan that one can't but admire her.

Rishi Kapoor is absolutely fabulous. His body language and facial expressions deserve distinction marks. Ratna Pathak Shah is just too lovely. Her acting makes her character so believable. Rajat Kapoor lends admirable support.
