So its true...and VD is trying to project himself as the next Salman while Ranveer is projecting himself as the next SRK. You lose the battle as soon as you are the next so and so.

Its not like the guy has been flooded with offers with what most would call "good films" and he is instead sticking to just doing his family movies.. there is only so much choice that one has and he is quite good in comedy, unlike most young gen actors

Judwa was a good comedy movie. Varun is signed up for double role, hope this time they take good actresses and not like MTH.

There was a Badlapur last year to speak for the actor in him vs. all the other choices. The important thing is that he can act and has enough of a support system to stick around to do lots of varied work. Best case scenario, this movie works and gives him enough confidence in his market to do other stuff as well. Worst case, it doesn't work and he'll avoid similar stuff in the future.
