Salman Khan likes to work with people he's comfortable with. He shared an equation with Randeep Hooda during Kick and became quite fond of the actor. While it is not sure whether Randeep will be part of the Kick sequel, he has just signed on for Sultan.
Says a source, "Director Ali Abbas Zafar was searching for someone to play Salman's wrestling coach. The role needed someone tall with a good physique and persona. It's a meaty role. Salman felt that Randeep fit the bill, so he recommended his name. The team then approached Randeep and he agreed to come on board." Currently, Randeep has lost 20 kgs for his role in Sarbjit where he plays the title role. After that, he will need to bulk up for Sultan and take wrestling lessons.
The source adds that Randeep and his family are very close to Salman. "Salman is fond of Randeep as he is known to be blunt and has quirky way of talking. Randeep in turn has always found it very inspiring to work with and loves him like an elder brother."
