Only in this forum have I heard people saying the Lata ruined the songs of veer-zaara. Those songs were more than popular and a rage..I don't know from which angle are we calling those songs as 'ruined' songs? 😕
Though I agree that Lata can get really screechy but Tere liye and Do pal are such beautiful songs. Nothing ruined them. ❤️

Alka ruled the 90s but even then I found Sadhna Sargam and Kavita Krishnamurthy to be better singers, more soulful.

Hahahaha,...😆...Lata Mangeshkar dominated 4 decades. That was the best era for music. Singers had to actually sing songs in those days. Her voice was not auto tuned like current singers.

I guess we wont be surprised if there is another topic which says Kumar Shanu is better than Mohammad Rafi. That day is not far away,

Lata is veryy senior but its a fact she lost her voice in late 90's
