Shatrughan Sinha believes Nawazuddin was the best thing to happen to Bollywood
Directed by Ketan Mehta, the film is a biopic on Dashrath Manjhi, a resident of Gehlaur village in Gaya district. Popularly known as the "Mountain Man", Manjhi single-handedly cut through a hill to make a road for his village. He died in 2007 in his early 80s.
Shatrughan took to micro-blogging site Twitter on Saturday to express his feelings about the film.
In a series of tweets, he wrote: "'Manjhi' - a dynamic, realistic and timely film of Bihari pride and the original, strong DNA of a son of Bihar.
"The earthy "dynamite" @Nawazuddin_S is the discovery of the century. @radhika_apte is lovely and laudable. Wish roaring success."
"Manjhi: The Mountain Man", which released on Friday, also stars Radhika Apte as Phaguniya - wife of Dashrath Manjhi.
