Emraan and Vidya do make a good pair. but I have always believed that it is the story and dynamics between the characters which bring out the real chemistry of a pair. For eg it was same Saif Rani in Hum Tum and in Thoda pyar thoda magic but you can clearly see the difference. Similarly there are many takers for Emraan Vidya in TDP and HAK but very few found them special in Ghanchakkar.
As far as Gangster is concerned I found Kanganas chenistry to be better with Shiney. There was so much angst between their characters. Ya ali is so heart wrenching. They also had good chemistry in Woh lamhe.
I liked Emraans chemistry with Sonal too in Jannat.

But in gangster, Emraan-Kangana didn't have much chemistry, as in, Shiney-Kangana play the lovers right? Their chemistry is visible even when Kangu is not present in the frame πŸ˜† , for example the Ya Ali song.

Emraan had nice chemistry with Shamita in the woh lamhe, woh baatein song...you are right he looked good with Kangana in tu hi meri shab hai, subah hai. I loved Emraan in Jannat but his co-star was so dull, still when emraan dies in the end, i feel for their love/ relationship. πŸ˜†

Kangana... They both together really burn the screen... their couple is too hot and the entire feel is very intense...They both complement each other very well... They were amazing in Gangster... i wish they do another movie together😳

in gangster Emraan cheats on kangna and kangna cheats on shiney and both the guys had some intimacy with her , and it wasn't exactly an one sided shiney kangna story.. I still loved shiney and kangna more but that's because the characters deserved sympathy while Emraan's performance and chemistry with kangna was brilliant too.. Tu hi meri Shan hai and bheegi bheegi are the best songs ..

Jannat was a very unique and lovable film, I still get disheartened whenever see the climax.. Emraan had very good chia try with sonal, and the songs are beautiful too.. Bhatt fnd are regressive because they make us believe that every epic love story needs the hero to die a merciless death for his lady and the way Emraan dies in Jannat is too tragic ..

I love Emraan's performances, the music, the story, and the themes in Awarapan. I think these were the best points of the movie, and it's different movie too as I haven't seen such story and themes shown in other hindi movies. It's definitely the best performance of Emraan. But then I haven't seen HAK as I am hearing it's one of his best performance too.

I am not sure if I want a sequel because they might ruin it. But if it will be decent, then why not. It will be awesome to have it <3

I'm sure mohit suri himself can never make anything as brilliant as Awarapan again .. Mohit delivers his best with Emraan and Humari adhuri kahani went wrong at many departments but the film still has a soulful touch and makes you feel for the lead pair unlike what happened in ek villain where I regretted wasting my 2 hours..

Coming back to Awarapan, the beauty was that Alia had only. 10 minute role but you could feel the presence of her and love of her in shivam's life throughout the film. The sequence when he dies and imagines himself with Alia that may be he will be forgiven , had me bawling ..

I agree. Emraan's death in Jannat was unnecessary and not inevitable. They somehow tried to fit his death to make it a tragedy and it worked also. In Gangster, the separation is kinda inevtaible considering Daya's past demons, same can't be said about Emraan's crime indulgence in Jannat. Those activities don't lead to death just like that. πŸ˜†

Awaarapan is my guilty pleasure. 😳 I find it cheesy at portions but I still like the freeing pigeons stuff. πŸ˜† Also the songs are so good.

yes in jannat, infact Arjun would be jailed for some years for Match fixing but the way he died in a live encounter , he didn't deserve it that too just because he listened to Zoya and had surrendered . This worked because that moment everybody feels that he loved her a lot and may be even she realizes it that time . If you have seen jannat2, the death was more tragic , he dies and doesn't even let his wife know about his innocence so that she can move on , this was truly very tragic.

I never found Awarapan cheesy, maybe because I'm a hopeless fan of the kind of love they showed between Shivam and Alia, the message was strong that to love someone you need to love god, by the end of the film Shivam does believe in God .. I loved Reema's character too, and even Aushotosh ranaa played his part very well

PS- Emraan is like Dhanush, in every film they die because they loved a girl .. Lol

slightly disagreeing here, irrespective of how the film was, in Ghanchakkar also, Emraan-Vidya had a wonderful chemistry, infact they were very good at their roles, the foolishness was brought out so well.. People talk about TDP and HAK more because the onscreen love stories had some major impact and the characters were more intense.
