The weapons were AK 56. Not revolvers. He said it was for self defence-umm..hand grenades were recovered-unless this is the road runner show, don't see how grenades are used for self defence. Some of these weapons were moved to another lady's house who got convicted under TADA(her daughter had some interesting remarks to make). As was the person who delivered these weapons to Dutt's house. Same weapons, different laws?

Dutt admitted to being in touch with Dawood's younger brother.

These are facts.

Now the rumors: This is not off Bollywood Section or some random website but apparently Sunil Dutt(may his soul RIP) intervened on Sanju's behalf. You might not choose to believe this but the facts themselves show that Sanjay Dutt was left off easily.

yes i can guess who r u along all these debates 😆 still read all verdict and what is the real case. Which is far away from ur fantasy , he was convicted for illegal possession for arms not in the conspiracy in bomb blast. i dont have any issue on that . After all he is just a character of sajan to khalnay so who care for who this crap sanju is . But verdict should also be in line in srikrishna commission. Bal thakrey ki jia ho 😆

Looks like this is Hirani's gift to Dutt as gratitude for Dutt agreeing to do his film as a hero (Munnabhai) when nobody was ready to do it.

it's all commercially motivated and it is 100% sure that it will release around the time of Dutt release to increase its boxoffice potential. I just hope the movie doesn't glorify Sanju. He is just an actor who has really done nothing to be praised about 😆 in a biopic. Keep it simple and real

i would have preferred RK to come in another script, not this sanju biopic although he suits the character, oh god😕

Sanjay Dutt

Mumbai: On Friday night, the pk trio of director Raj Kumar Hirani, Aamir Khan and Sanjay Dutt (who plays a cameo in pk) met at Dutts' Pali Hill residence. According to a source present there, "Raju, Aamir and Sanju were engaged in a deep discussion. Although a stream of visitors, including politicians and their kin, kept dropping in, the three of them were oblivious to the other guests."

Apparently, Hirani and Khan had dropped in to get Dutt's official approval to make a biopic on him. Says Dutt's friend, "It isn't very clear what the extent of Aamir's involvement with the project would be."

Dutt was given a brief outline by Hirani of the proposed film's format. Dutt liked what he heard. He has unofficially sanctioned the project which will be co-produced by Hirani and him.

"There will be references to Sanju's run-in with the law and his imprisonment. But the film will be about the tumultuous life led by Dutt, his loss of bearings after he lost his mother and his inability to find peace and domestic harmony until he met Maanyata."

Ranbir Kapoor, who will be playing Sanjay Dutt, is away on a holiday. He is expected to meet Dutt when he returns in the first week of January just before Dutt's return to jail.

This will be the first of the two biopics that Ranbir is slated to do on a Bollywood personality.

Besides Sanjay Dutt, he will also be playing actor-singer-filmmaker-composer Kishore Kumar in a film to be directed by Anurag Basu, that has been long in the planning stages.
